Hand printed monoprint of a mother and baby bear hug. I have been drawing and illustrating bears for some time now. Bears have captured my imagination and I long to see a real one in the wild some time. This image has been inspired by hugs I had as a child. In our family they were called Bear Hugs. The hug would start with a firm comforting squeeze followed by a count of 1, 2 ,3 then a much firmer hug known as a Bear Hug. A happy feeling of childhood comes back every time I think of Bear Hugs!
