Running Whippet

Acid plate etching of a running whippet. This image illustrates the fun that sighthound dogs display when they are let off the lead. It's all about speed! My own dogs are sighthound's and more than anything they love to run and when they do they run so fast. As an owner of a Whippet called Betsy and two Spanish Podenco's it is a sheer joy to watch these beautiful creatures run their socks off. These dogs inspire many of the images I create and they are a constant source of inspiration.
