Printmaking In Paradise
I have been designing and hand printing fun animal prints since 2001 using my own unique humourous style. I exhibit at galleries and shows throughout the year taking inspiration from birds and animals and especially my own dogs and cats. I particularly enjoy whippets! I am also inspired by the humour in childrens book illustrations which I loved as a child and from my previous career in animating. My prints are designed to make you smile whether you are old or young. I hand-make all of my animal prints and use different techniques including Acid Plate Etching, Dry Point Etching, Screenprint, Gocco-Print and Collograph. I have also transferred several designs to other printed mediums. A particularly popular product range is the very unique and humourous 3D Bird Cards which always make you smile.

This coming February the 2nd I will be exhibiting for the first time at the Manchester Print Fair. This is taking place at the Hat Works in Stockport, just down the road from where I live.
I really looking forward to taking part in this event along with 29 other printmakers and people that love print. I'm sure their will be some familiar faces there. Please come along and say hi if you're in Stockport that day.
